Mani Brothers Real Estate Group, the owners of the Hana Maui Resort, recently finished the renovations of the first of many Hale/Bungalows. These images document the “Island Elegance” of the spaces photographed. I have added a few behind the scene images from our private airplane ride over to Hana from Waimea on the Big Island.

Luxury Hotel Photography | Halekulani Renovations | Hotel Room Photography | Waikiki | Hawaii /  by Ethan Tweedie

Over five days in December we photographed the newly renovated hotel rooms at Hawaii’s finest iconic Hotel, Halekulani.   I am so proud to be able to share some of our work from the photoshoot, each room was carefully scheduled and planed to take advantage of the sunlight and views of the Pacific Ocean/Waikiki/Diamond Head etc.

Here is Halekulani’s description of the design elements:

“Halekulani’s guest accommodations have been thoughtfully revitalized and designed, enhancing the property’s signature “seven shades of white” aesthetic philosophy. Framing dramatic and expansive views of the majestic Pacific Ocean and the verdant, oasis-like grounds of the resort, the overarching theme of nature and blending the sea with the sky will offer a haven of elegance and serenity. New elements of warmth and texture will serve to enrich the design, infusing a sense of harmony and balance throughout. Wooden panels and cabinetry will be incorporated, as well as textured wall coverings and meticulously crafted furnishings to fuse the subtle influences of European, Hawaiian, and Asian cultures.”

Stirrups Restaurant | The Equestrian Hotel | Ocala Florida /  by Ethan Tweedie

Stirrups Restaurant is a site to behold, massive 2 story ceilings, custom millwork and a 1,500 bottle wine cellar! For the main dining room image, we must have spent an hour lining up each chair so the image would be just perfect! If you ever go to The Equestrian Hotel you must dine at Stirrups! Here is the description from the designer, Roberts Design Group

“On the first floor of The Equestrian Hotel, Stirrups Restaurant is a timeless representation of luxury dining. As an elegant southern steakhouse and fine dining experience, we wanted the space to be refined with Parisian inspirations. The custom millwork and fine details, like the chrome door handles that mimic stamped leather, complete the look.

As one of the unique outlets found in The Equestrian, its design is honored as a part of the hotel's nomination for the 2021 Gold Key Awards in the category of "Best Hotel Luxury."

The Equestrian Hotel description: “Prime steaks and chops, sustainable Florida seafood and seasonal specialties are served in a refined dining room and terrace overlooking the Grand Outdoor Arena at the World Equestrian Center/Equestrian Hotel

Stirrups Restaurant is Ocala’s premier, elegant southern steakhouse, where refined comfort food meets elevated service with a wine cellar accommodating 1500 bottles of wine.”

Yellow Pony Pub & Garden | The Equestrian Hotel | World Equestrian Center | Ocala Florida /  by Ethan Tweedie

We had the pleasure of photographing the Yellow Pony Pub & Garden for The Equestrian Hotel and we only had about 3 hours to accomplish our shots as it was opening day for the restaurant, thankfully we got some great shots for the Hotel!

Boasting an outdoor patio and fireplace, The Yellow Pony lobby gastro lounge in Ocala, Florida offers shareable starters, pub fare, traditional draft beers, bourbon and whiskey. A globally inspired pub and garden, The Yellow Pony pairs craft beer and creative cocktails with fresh ingredients. Whether joining for a quick lunch, a cold beer or dinner with friends, you are sure to have a great time in this vibrant social space.

We had to get some details shots of these incredible saddle stools, how cool are they!! They were designed by Roberts Design
